Instructions for Use
FOOD AREA APPLICATION
Concentrations are standardized; GERMASIDE should be utilized at a rate of 50 ml per litre (5% v/v) of water through misting or trigger spraying. After a 5-minute contact period between GERMASIDE and the surface, the surface is deemed “sanitised,” generally requiring no further preparation. Hard, non-porous surfaces in contact with food, such as equipment and utensils, can be used post-sanitisation without rinsing with potable water, provided GERMASIDE is applied at 5% v/v as per instructions and surfaces are drained and dried before food contact. It is recommended to dispose of diluted solutions daily when used in FOOD AREAS and to prepare fresh solutions daily.
NON-FOOD AREAS, including commercial and domestic use
For thorough sanitation, apply GERMASIDE at a rate of 50 ml per litre (5% v/v) with potable water via trigger spray on pre-cleaned surfaces. For low-risk areas, a dilution ratio as low as 1 part to 200 parts of water can achieve a 99.9% germ and bug kill within 1 minute. Allow the wetted surface to air dry or wipe dry with a clean cloth. The surface is considered sanitised after 1 minute. For domestic and commercial use, there’s no requirement to dispose of prepared solutions, but it’s advisable to discard unused solutions after 3 months if stored according to Section 7 of the SDS. GERMASIDE is non-hazardous according to NOHSC criteria. Minimise skin and eye contact and avoid ingestion.
