Instructions for Use
1. Fruit & Vegetable Processing: Use METEOR GREEN at a concentration of 2 to 5% with cold water for manual cleaning. This translates to 2 ml per litre of water or a ratio of 50:1 or 50 ml per litre or 20:1. Allow up to 3 minutes of contact time and rinse with potable water. Thoroughly rinse all surfaces if using a quaternary ammonium compound afterward.
2. Bathrooms & Showers: To clean mould, soap scum, etc., use a 1:20 dilution of METEOR GREEN. Apply to the surface, leave for 5 minutes, then rinse, using a brush if necessary. Ensure proper ventilation in confined areas.
3. Food Preparation/Ship Galleys: For cleaning surfaces like tables, cutting boards, bench-tops, and floors, use a 1:50 dilution of METEOR GREEN. Leave for 5 to 10 minutes before rinsing.
4. Refrigeration Rooms & Vehicles: Dilute METEOR GREEN at a ratio of 1 part product to 20 parts water or adjust as needed to remove different types of soils.
5. Algae, Fungi, and Mould: For removing these from concrete, mortar, and roof tiles, use a 1:20 dilution of METEOR GREEN. Apply liberally, leave for at least 30 minutes, then brush off dead algae and hose with water.
6. Laundries: For bleaching white clothes, use a 1:500 solution of METEOR GREEN (2 ml per litre) for 2 to 3 hours or overnight, then rinse and wash. For baby nappies, soak in METEOR GREEN at a 1:100 dilution for 2 hours before rinsing and washing in the machine.
